Mastercard to launch solution for smartphones to become contactless acceptance devices — The Hindu BusinessLine — “If your phone has NFC, then it can become a point-of-sale (POS) device. These 55 million users account for about 20% of the U.S. population aged 15 and over, and just over 25% of US smartphone users.”
