NFC and RFID tag supplier UPM RFID has added two new types of NFC tag to its range. The new Circus and MiniBlock tags are smaller than the company’s existing BullsEye, RaceTrack and MiniTrack tags and are designed for applications where a small footprint is required.
The Circus tags have a circular antenna that measures 23mm across. They are powered by NXP Mifare Ultralight or Ultralight C chips and are designed to be used as smart stickers, for brand protection, advertising and loyalty applications as well as for embedding in products.
MiniBlock tags have a square antenna that measures just 15mm x 15mm. They carry NXP Mifare Ultralight or 1K Classic chips and are designed for brand protection, advertising and loyalty token applications as well as for embedding into products such as electronics accessories.
