French fast food chain picks Airtag for contactless and NFC loyalty programme

La Croissanterie, a 180-strong chain of fast food outlets, has adopted Airtag‘s Airfid system for its new loyalty programme.

Airfid lets customers use a wide variety of devices, from NFC phones to transport cards and 2D barcodes, to identify themselves at the point-of-sale.

Currently installed in three outlets, La Croissanterie plans to roll out the system across all locations during late 2009/early 2010.
