Announced in March 2012, the Sony Xperia Sola has a ‘floating touch’ screen that allows users to interact without needing to physically touch the screen.
The smartphone also features a 3.7-inch display, 1GHz processor, 3D surround audio technology, NFC and running Android 2.3 with an upgrade to Android 4.0 promised for summer 2012.
The phone became available in 2Q 2012 and joins Sony’s NFC-enabled Xperia P, Xperia S and Xperia Ion.
