The Sony Xperia P has an aluminium unibody design, a 4-inch display, 1GHz dual-core processor and 8MP camera as well as NFC.

The Xperia P was announced on 26 February 2012 at the Mobile World Congress.

The device became available during the second quarter of 2012 running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with an upgrade to Android 4.0 due to follow.
