An NFC version of the Samsung Galaxy Note tablet phone is available in Korea and also found its way to AT&T in the US during the second quarter of 2012.

UPDATE Reader Michael P writes: “NFC was disabled by AT&T on the i717 with ICS. I upgraded OS to Jelly Bean and now NFC works perfectly. Tested in an AT&T store and sales staff thought it couldn’t possibly work until they saw a large photo transfer instantly.”
