Nokia is demonstrating a new wireless charging phone cradle with NFC at Mobile World Congress 2013.

The Nokia CR-200 uses the Qi wireless charging standard to recharge mobile phones placed in the holder without the need for plugging in a cable.

An integrated NFC tag also tells the phone that it is docked in the cradle and can trigger a predefined application, such as Nokia’s Drive navigation app.

The cradle is designed to be used with the Nokia Lumia 720, 820 and 920.
