Google and Visa have signed a deal which will allow Visa-issuing banks worldwide to add credit, debit and prepaid accounts to Google Wallet.

Visa has granted Google a worldwide license to use Visa PayWave technology, meaning that Visa card holders will soon be able to load their cards into the Google Wallet app, which is rolling out in the US from today.
“This agreement extends Google Wallet to Visa account holders worldwide,” says Stephanie Tilenius, vice president of commerce and payments at Google. “This is a crucial step towards realizing our shared vision for the future of mobile commerce — one that creates a rich shopping experience for consumers and merchants alike.”
