The Huawei Honor 9 is an Android 7 smartphone with a fingerprint reader and NFC. The Honor 9 was announced in June 2017 and shipped in July.

According to AliExpress and others, this unit does not have NFC.
Huh, that’s odd. There are also sources on the the internet that say it *does* have NFC.
That said, there seem to be quite a few different models now, so maybe the feature was removed after the initial model launched in 2017, or perhaps it varies by territory.
Either way, it may pay to exercise caution when buying this phone if NFC is important to you.
