The Google Nexus 5X is a 5.2-inch premium Android 6 smartphone with a built-in fingerprint sensor and NFC.

The Nexus 5X uses a USB-C connection for charging and includes a fingerprint sensor on its back which can be used in a system called “Nexus Imprint” to wake and unlock the phone and to authorise Android Pay transactions.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 powers the phone, which also offers a full HD display and a 12-megapixel camera.

The LG-made device was announced on 29 September 2015 and will be available at US$379 for the entry-level 16GB model, with shipping starting in late October.
