MOBILE WALLET: Jacksonville Jaguar fans can now use Jags Pay to make QR-based mobile payments

Fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars American Football team can now make QR-based mobile payments at retailers and concessions across its TIAA Bank Field stadium using a mobile wallet integrated into the official team app, which supporters can already use to access their mobile tickets for entry on game day.

The Jags Pay wallet in the Jags App enables iOS and Android mobile phone users to link any debit or credit card to their account and then make mobile payments at any of the stadium’s points of sale, including official team merchandisers and restaurants.

“Accessing your Jags Pay account from a mobile device requires either Touch ID or a passcode,” the company explains.

“Jags Pay displays a unique QR code, which is safe, universally used and can be read from a much greater distance than any other payment methods as well as through protective plexiglass.”

“Health and safety are at the forefront of all our fan experience upgrades in 2020,” says Chad Johnson, the Jaguars’ SVP of sales and service.

“Jags Pay provides a contactless purchasing option and speeds up transactions, ensuring fans can return to their seat as quickly as possible.

“The technology also gives the Jaguars insight into the buying behaviour of our fans. In the future, we can customise their experience at TIAA Bank Field with exclusive offers tailored just for their game day style.”
