MWC EASY: Android app grabs contact details from visitor badges

MWC Easy from Swiss app developer ClickOn works on NFC handsets running Android 2.3.7+ and holds the promise of streamlining networking for NFC-savvy attendees at the huge international mobile industry event. A pro version is also available, which will sync gathered contacts into a CRM application.

“No business cards, just an MWC badge and a mobile phone,” ClickOn’s Christoph Schrills tells NFC World. “Accelerate your MWC 2012 networking in the most innovative way, scan visitor badges with your NFC phone.”

The app works offline, so no data connection is needed. MWC Easy is available in the Android Market now.

• ClickOn will be at MWC in Hall 7, booth H2.
