Ask launches contactless and NFC reader for home PCs

French contactless specialist Ask has launched LoGo, a low cost contactless USB reader compatible with contactless bank cards, NFC, FeliCa and Mifare.

The reader is designed to enable consumers to perform a variety of contactless transactions from their home PC, including reloading funds on their transport or other contactless card. Other applications such as banking and loyalty transactions, e-document reading and logical access control can also be performed with the device.

“Contactless technology is part of our daily life where mobility is the main feature of our century,” says Marcos Reichert, Ask terminals business line manager. “LoGo fits perfectly into this new way of life… We designed it to be cost effective without compromising on the performance.”
