BNP Paribas is to begin issuing payment cards with a built-in fingerprint sensor to its Premier and Gold cardholders later this year, the French bank has announced.

The bank plans to issue an initial 10,000 to 15,000 cards “this autumn”, BNP Paribas’ Jean-Marie Dragon told Le Parisien.
