White paper lays out best practices for banks launching HCE payments

Mozido HCE payment white paper

A 19-page white paper designed to help banks understand the key concepts of host card emulation (HCE) and tokenization technology and the best practices for evaluating and deploying HCE-based payment services is now available to download from the NFC World Knowledge Centre.

‘HCE Payment — How it works and best practices for banks’, produced by mobile payments specialist Mozido, offers a detailed examination of HCE and tokenization before listing the key steps to take when evaluating, planning and executing HCE payment projects, based on the company’s first hand experience.

The paper also looks at Mozido’s own cloud-based payment platform and how it can be used to deliver tokenization and HCE services.

“Financial institutions have been traditionally slower to adopt new technology in the interest of security, but that lag is allowing their competitors to displace the financial institution’s brand and the direct relationships with their consumers,” Mozido says.

“For banks looking to introduce a HCE payment service to enable digital payments for their consumers, there are five best practices which Mozido recommends that banks consider in order to ensure they implement and launch a successful HCE payment service.”

This white paper has been produced and sponsored by Mozido and has been approved by the NFC World editorial team. You can download this document free of charge from the NFC World Knowledge Centre.
