The Alcatel Onetouch Idol 2 is a mid-range NFC smartphone with a 5-inch qHD display and a 1.3GHz quad core processor.

“Brushed metallic finishing and diamond cut perfectly complement quad core processing power and sharp IPS displays to create smartphones perfect for style-conscious consumers,” says manufacturer TCL Communication.

The device runs Android 4.2, with an upgrade to Android 4.4 promised.

The Idol 2 was announced at the Mobile World Congress in February 2014.
