  1. As a Swiss resident, carrying us issued credit cards, I have been using ApplePay at more and more stores here since buying my iPhone 6 in Dec 2014. Coop gas stations just installed the same NFC POS readers as their supermarkets, so now I do Pay with my Watch.

It’s a great system, I highly recommend it. I don’t know why AECS doesn’t get on board with supporting Pay here in Switzerland.

    1. The biggest problem is that you require an over priced smartphone with a poor non user replaceable battery to use it. Which makes it uninteresting.

      1. LoL. Call it what you want, but it’s certainly more interesting, and possibly more secure, than what any banking cartel or protected telecom Bude will try to foist upon consumers.

Besides, overpriced is subjective and non-user-replaceable battery is largely irrelevant as, for the majority of users, iPhone batteries don’t really require replacement until after the device has been obsoleted by newer generation iPhones with added performance, capability and features.
