A new NFC antenna aimed at today’s slimmer smartphones has been introduced by Premo. The ZC1003HF measures 10mm by 10mm by 3.1mm high and uses a z-axis design to reduce board space while offering up to 30% longer reading distance.

“This Z-axis coil’s design offers an outstanding electrical performance and mechanical robustness, providing an excellent reliability, as they are designed and validated with automotive standards,” says Premo.

The antenna has been designed to work with NFC chipsets from NXP, AMS, STMicroelectronics, Melexis and Texas Instruments.
