Jelly Bean to extend NFC P2P

Google has announced two new NFC features will be available in the Android 4.1 ‘Jelly Bean’ version of its Android Beam service. They will also be able to pair with and connect to NFC Bluetooth devices with a touch.

  1. I saw the Nexus 7 specs and Google have listed NFC (Android Beam) instead of just NFC as they list on the Nexus smartphone.

The question I have is does the Nexus 7 support NFC for Google Wallet or just proprietary NFC and limited to Android Beam?
