NFC application NFC Quick Actions has now been downloaded from Android Market more than 3,000 times, developer Fernando Cejas has told NFC World. The app allows users to simply and quickly write customisable actions to NFC tags — such as mail actions and Foursquare check-ins — and is now receiving an average of 30 downloads a day.

The most popular version of NFC Quick Actions is for Android 4.0/4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, Cejas added, with most downloaders being located in the US, followed by the UK, Spain and Korea.
“The feedback I’m receiving is amazing,” says Cejas, “especially as I’m doing NFC Quick Actions as a hobby”. A feature for creating an NFC tag to connect to a WiFi network is proving popular and more features are being worked on, the developer added.

Almost any NFC tags are compatible!!..I recommend the mifare classic 1k.
